In  reading I am learning about to predict I had to look at the picture and predict what was happening. use my prior knowledge and clues from the text.

Describe the scene. How does the picture make you feel?

Do you think the boy knows what lurks beneath the surface?

What do you think he can see/hear?

Scary  noises and he see the water being to move.

What is the crocodile’s character like?

I want to that small boy mmmm.

What will happen next? Continue the story.

The crocodile will jump out and the boy will scream.

If you could jump into the picture, what would you do? Would you help

the boy? How?

I will case the crocodile all the away to the sea.

ANZAC Biscuits

in literacy i'v been learning about  ANZAC we made  ANZAC biscuits this  it how you make it sugar, flour,, rolled oats, golden syrup, butter, no eggs so they do not go off. Mum's and children made the bisuits. some were sent to soldiers and most of them sold at fetes to raise  money for the war.they raised 6.5 million pounds for the new zealand war effort.

Flame Thrower Writing

In writing we have been learning about using wow words. we watched a slow motion video about a flame thrower. Then we brainstormed wow words  and similes to describe the flame.

Being responsible with chromebooks

In cybersmart I have been learning about being responsible with chromebook. First we put our prior knowledge on a padlet. then we buddied up and created  a about Being responsible with chromebooks I found it hard with a buddied.

Making a Kite

This is my kite. We made it out of skewers and plastic. First we put the skewers together to make a triangle frame and then the teachers put  plastic on it. We did sketches on paper and then we traced them onto our kite. Then we coloured it in with vivid. I made a tale for my kite. I made bow out of cellophane and then the teachers hung it on the wall. I love doing it, hopefully we do something like that again.
