Today in literary we had to chose what plant we wanted to write about I choose the sun. First we had to pick a plant. Next we had to plan it on a peas of paper. Third we had to write bout it. last we had to blog it. The resin way we are doing this is because we are learning about spas in punui-o-toka.

Understanding song lyrics

In literacy we have been learning about Michael jackson and Bruno Mars we listened two song's they were treasure by  Bruno Mars and man in the mirror by Michael jackson. we discussed and brainstormed the song's title meaning we then looked at the Lyrics and what they meant. Treasure by Bruno mars is about like he like the girl like a golden star then the second song man in the mirror by Michael jackson is about he want to changing  himself but he help the homeless kids by giving them food.

Camping Trip

“I guess this is what the wilderness feels like.” John said to himself. Standing there in the woods, he couldn’t believe he had agreed to go on a camping trip with his cousins. He’d always been scared of new experiences. John noticed that his cousins were unpacking the camping gear while his Uncle Jim was setting up the tent. Suddenly, John felt a little bad about not helping. “Hey, Uncle Jim, what can I do to help?” he asked, trying to sound confident. “Why don’t you gather some firewood?”Uncle Jim answered. “Um, sure” John replied. “Where do they keep it?” Uncle Jim gave John a curious look. “We are in the woods John, just look around for some clean and dry wood.”

ANZAC Biscuits

in literacy i'v been learning about  ANZAC we made  ANZAC biscuits this  it how you make it sugar, flour,, rolled oats, golden syrup, butter, no eggs so they do not go off. Mum's and children made the bisuits. some were sent to soldiers and most of them sold at fetes to raise  money for the war.they raised 6.5 million pounds for the new zealand war effort.
