wow Christchurch is amazing!! 

I love Christchurch because:

1. Christchurch is fun because there is a cool zoo Orana park where you can encounter the lions  and parks like botanical gardens that have a lot of flowers.

2. I like Christchurch because there are lots of places I can swim like Sumner Beach the I like the waves they are big.

3.  Christchurch is fun because there is lots of nature and I can go camping  in the woods my favourite part about camping is when we get to go fishing cause my dad catches the fish and I get to reel it in.


I like to call Christchurch my home because I feel happy here and  safe and I can do fun things with my family and have a good and happy time.. In Christchurch I have lots of friends that make me happy. I am happy in Christchurch and  i'm glad to call Christchurch my home.

1. Tane Mahuta because it has lots of nature and plants.

2. The rescone I what to go to Tane Mahuta is because I can go for hikes and walks.

my 3 fun facts are.

1. to become a NZ citizen you must swear an oath to Queen Elizabeth. the reason I chose this fact is because I thought you just have to sign a paper to get your citizen.

2. The Auckland city sky tower is the tallest freestanding  structure in the Southern Hemisphere at 328 meters high. I picked this fun fact because I like the Auckland sky tower.




3. The official language is English and maori. I chose this fact was because I like learning maori.

In literacy we have been learning about Ben E king  we listened to the song Stand by me we discussed and brainstormed the song's title meaning we then looked at the Lyrics and what they meant.

Understanding song lyrics

In literacy we have been learning about Michael jackson and Bruno Mars we listened two song's they were treasure by  Bruno Mars and man in the mirror by Michael jackson. we discussed and brainstormed the song's title meaning we then looked at the Lyrics and what they meant. Treasure by Bruno mars is about like he like the girl like a golden star then the second song man in the mirror by Michael jackson is about he want to changing  himself but he help the homeless kids by giving them food.

Keep your teeth clean

   We had to make a animation to teach a five year old how to brush their teeth. for this we are learning about Personal Hygiene in Health. It is good to keep clean so that the bad bacteria's in your mouth go away and keep the good one's.

In writing we are learning to create ideas.  First we brainstormed as a class what bugs us. We asked Mr M what bugged him. Mrs M cG then gave us 8 minutes to quickly write our ideas down.
