Night owl/summer learning journey 2018/19

Hi Bloggers,

I think I'm a night owl because I like being up late doing drawing and watch a movie and i sleep in and I struggle to wake up.

My mum might be a early riser because she wakes up at 5:00 WHAT! and mum falls asleep quickly.

My Dad is the same as my mum because he wakes up around about the same time as my mum does.

The two plants I choose is:
White Baneberry
Venus Flytrap

The three similarities:
1.  The White Baneberry and Venus Flytrap  both attract something.
2.  The Flytrap and White Baneberry is dangerous to some things.
3. They are both have red on the plant.

The three differences:
1. The White Baneberry is a fruit and the Venus Flytrap is not 2. The Venus Flytrap grows on ground and the White Baneberry grows on a tree.3. The White Baneberry does not have leaves and Venus Flytrap does have leaves.

 I want to do flax weaving because it looks fun.  I like using plants to make stuff. It  looks like a bit of a challenge and I like challenging myself. I think flax weaving is interesting and i'm going to give it a go.

Something Smells Fishy/summer learning journey 2018/19

1: The oldest known fish in the world is a 65 year old Australian lungfish. TRUE

2: Sharks are the only fish that have eyelids. TRUE

3: Starfish are a type of fish. FALSE

4: Fish communicate with each other by making low-pitched sounds (moans, hisses, etc) TRUE

5: Fish usually swim together in groups called ‘classes. TRUE

1. I  choose Dad because he will show me the way and help me to stay fit.

2.  I choose my Mum because she will keep me healthy so i have the energy I need.

3. I choose my nana because she will make sure I do not give up and she will make me laugh.

Swimming with the Fish/summer learning journey 2018/19

One of favourite things to do in summer is being at the beach, playing in the sand, fishing for little sea creatures and swimming in the sea, especially since my nana's house is right on the beach!
