web fake and real

Last week we looked at what is fake and what is real. we looked at a web site called the tree octopus. we tried to find out if it was real but it was fake. we all so looked at what is a fake web site. If you do see this. https. it is real if you don't is is fake. people make up stores on the wed that are fake people just what to make a good and juicy story. 

Hangi

On the 21st of November the year 6 boys and girls go a hangi ready. The year 6 boys had to dig the hole and the year 6 girls had to get the kai ready. The girls had to peal the carrots and potato and chop the carrots and potato we also had to put the kai in the aluminium foil containers. There was carrot, potato, lamb, chicken and pumpkin. after school at 7:00 the kupa haka had to preform for 8 schools.

Red zone

Today in homerooms we had to make a poster. The poster is about how to get out of the red zone. The 4 pleases in the red zone is mean , yelling , out of control , angry. If you have a tip that can get you out of the red zone you can use them.

Surfing trip

On  the Friday the 8th the year 5 and 6  went to Sumner Beach. The year 5 and 6 learn to surf and  body board. We got put into groups seals and dolphins I was in Dolphin.  I went body boarding and then I went surfing. It was so hared to stand on the surfing broad. It was easy to get a wave. It was so fun.

Puzzle making

Today in miss G home room we had to make a puzzle. we had to make it about maori days of the week. first we had to make a google drawing. next we had to make the puzzle on the app called create puzzle you can choose how meany pieces you what I had 30 pieces . last we had to make our puzzle.

PB4L Be awesome, Being kind

For the past 2 weeks in PB4L we had to make a video about being awesome. I worked with Carla and Mitchell.H we did being kind. we had to plan we had 1 to 6 Pages for our plan. We had to practice our lines then we had to make the video. I fond it hard to think of the lines I fond it easy to re mender my lines.

Today in math strand we had to do pictograph about milk cartons. we  had to look at the key and find out what the answer. I found it hared to draw the milk cartons I found it easy to find out the answer. there were 2 sides.

The sun

Today in literary we had to chose what plant we wanted to write about I choose the sun. First we had to pick a plant. Next we had to plan it on a peas of paper. Third we had to write bout it. last we had to blog it. The resin way we are doing this is because we are learning about spas in punui-o-toka.

PB4L Reflection

Today in home room time we did a reflection  on PB4L ( positive behaviour for learning). We did this because it is the last day of term and we needed to set goals for next term. I enjoy reflecting on things and making new goals.

I found it easy to set goals but I found it hard to not have fun.

Birthday sweets

In Math we got to choose buddy so I got my buddy and I started to work. We had to figure out adding  each person on each side and going up how many sweets they get. We found it hard to draw or make the picture. It was easy to count how much they have. But this is our blog post and we hope you like it

Hi today the kapa haka when to deform and we got to do fun stuff. First we watched caterpillar shoes. Next we got to pick a activity to do about the caterpillar shoes I chose to draw my own little monster.

Hows in

In Math My Group had  to work out how many people you had to do Ip dip ,sky blue, whos it, its you to be in no matter what. we got given this task and we worked really hard on it. we had to go up to 8 people and their feet. We found it challenging to work 4 and more people out and it was easy to work 4 and under out. We worked very hard on this so we hope you like it. 

Jack Frost

In literacy today we were talking about jack frost. we had to write about the ice could whether is was fun. first we planed together we had to think about wow words and we sat in a circle. next we had to write our story and do the writing prose.

Maps

In geometry we have been looking at directions on maps. we have learnt what a compass looks like and the directions: North,East,South,West,NE,NW,SE,SW. I remember it by never eat soggy
weet bix. In this task . I found It hard to find the place and I found it easy to put the directions I hope you like my blog post. 

Math class

In math today we had to do a math quashed. I worked with Isabella it was eyes but we had to rush because the i pad we were using was going flat so we had to send it fast the we got there in the end I hope you like it.

Geometry - Math's Strand's

In geometry we have been learning about coordinates . coordinates are directions ad they made up of numbers / letters to help you know were to go. We had to complete the following task. I learnt more about coordinates. I found it easy to colour everything. I found it challenging to get the right stuff down.

how to tack care of a rat

In writing we have been writing about how to write instructions I choose how to tack care of a rat. we had to say what you need and step by step so here is my story hope you enjoy it.

What you need

1.  Small bird cage

2. Small Chew toy,  old Pipes (small)

3. News paper

4. water boll, food boll

5. small hut

6. Veg,fruit scraps

 .

Instructions

Step 1 fresh veg,fruit in the bowl and freshwater in the bowl every day

Step 2 clean newspaper and new newspaper at the bottom of the cage

Step 3 wash the rat 1 time a week it might not like it.

Step 4 brush the fur if it looks knotty.

Step 5 play with your rat.

Hi Today we finished our story about a jet plane. We took a picture prompt and pictured that we were on the wing of the plane. I enjoyed writing It. I found making the plan hard.

In the middle of winter, a very special custer (group) of stars appear in the sky over New Zealand. This cluster is called the ‘Matariki star cluster.’ It re-appears in the sky each May/June and signals the start of the Māori New Year. Many songs (waiata) and stories have been written about the cluster. One of these is called ‘The Seven Stars of Matariki.’ It was written by a New Zealander named Toni Rolleston-Cummins.
