The WWF/ Summer Learning Journey 2018/19

My clip i chose to watch was the one about the tigers but i couldn't watch it as it keep coming up with video not available

My answers to the questions are:

1. The WWF is working to safe the Samiaa ringed seal with only 360 individuals left.

2. The WWF is building snow banks so they have a safe area to have their pups in, because if they are born in the open they have no protection against predators.

3. They dont know yet as they still need a long term plan and need to act fast to help safe the animals over longer period and not just the pups.

  1. Hi Joslyne,

    Me again :)

Isn't sad that there are only 360 Saimaa Ringed Sealas left in the world? We're lucky the WWF are working hard to protect them and get that number up. Were you able to find out what kinds of animals prey on them?

When I used to live in Wellington, I would often see seals sunbathing on the rocks along the waterfront while I was walking to work. It was a lovely sight to see first thing in the morning. Have you seen a seal in real life?

    Blog ya later! :)
